Test shoot with Jaimy

Working with other ambitious people really is amazing. You’re both driven to make the most beautiful photographs during the test shoot. But when it’s your model’s first shoot… It’s a super fun challenge to bring out the best in them! And when it’s a guy with a gorgeous jawline and razorsharp cheekbones… Super exciting!

This time, I got to photograph Jaimy. He came to my studio in Rotterdam with a ton of options with styling. We decided to go with a more casual style.

Posing can be difficult for the first time. But with a bit of coaching, the natural poses came quickly!

Shooting motion can really add to the photographs! This makes it easier to get a more candid feel for the shots. Less posed, more casual!

After some fashion shots, I wanted to capture a detail shot of his beautiful features! Look at this… How can one see this on the back of the camera and not get excited!?
